Have you eaten well? When people first met, in our country there was the lean season before the barley harvest and rice was scarce, so when they met, they greeted one another by asking whether one had eaten breakfast. Also, because people often died, they greeted one another by asking whether one had been well through the night. Perhaps because it has become a habit, I, too, always greet people by asking whether they have eaten well. Dear fellow believers, have you received the remission of sin? How good it would be if you had all received the remission of sin! Hoping that you all receive it, we have looked together at the word we know well, from John 3:16 on. God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, the only begotten Son, and made it so that whoever believes in that only begotten Son should not perish but have everlasting life. Dear fellow believers, receiving the remission of sin is very easy. All you have to do is believe in Jesus.
